Graphitization Furnace Cooling Unit
Hybrid Cooling6 Cooling Units · 25 MW Heat Transfer Capacity · 2,100 Cubic Meters per Hour · 89% Annual Water Savings · Year 1402 (2023–2024)
Hybrid cooling units, automatic self-cleaning filters and shell-and-tube heat exchangers for petrochemical, steel and electrode plants — designed, built, installed and commissioned in-house.
Hybrid cooling that rejects 162 MW of process heat — while saving up to 89% of the water.
Sazeh Peyvand designs and builds the cooling-water side of heavy industry: hybrid cooling units for the graphitization furnaces of Ardakan Novin Electrode and the polyethylene reactors of Lorestan and Mahabad Petrochemical, fully automatic self-cleaning filters at Mahshahr Petrochemical and Pasargad Alloy Steel, and TEMA shell-and-tube heat exchangers — each one engineered, fabricated, installed and commissioned by the same team.
Engineering, workshop fabrication, procurement and site works stay inside one team and one quality-management system — from the first calculation to final handover.

Hybrid cooling cut annual water use by 85–89% on the units we delivered for electrode and petrochemical plants.
Basic and detailed design, optimization, fabrication, installation and commissioning answer to a single point of responsibility.
Exchangers and vessels are designed to TEMA and ASME and verified with hydrostatic testing before they leave the shop.
A hybrid (wet/dry) cooler rejects process heat with far less evaporation than a conventional wet cooling tower. On the units Sazeh Peyvand has delivered, annual water consumption fell by 85 to 89 percent; together they reject about 162 MW of process heat across 20 units.
At Ardakan Novin Electrode for the graphitization furnaces (6 units, 25 MW, 2,100 m³/h, 89% water saving), and for the polyethylene reactors of the Lorestan (8 units, 81 MW, 2,800 m³/h, 86%) and Mahabad (6 units, 56 MW, 2,400 m³/h, 85%) petrochemical complexes.
Fully automatic self-cleaning filters handle up to 500 m³/h at 3 to 16 bar with 100-mesh filtration. A pressure-difference sensor starts each flush automatically, the screen is washed with the process water itself (about 50 litres per flush), flow continues during cleaning and no chemicals are used. They run at Mahshahr Petrochemical and Pasargad Alloy Steel.
Shell-and-tube exchangers — fixed tube sheet, U-tube, floating head and kettle types — are designed to TEMA and ASME and hydrostatically tested before they leave the workshop.
